I am teary-eyed leaving Villa Semarapura; we will miss this place so much. My husband and I have waited over 3 years to come here; we had planned our destination wedding back in 2020, but the pandemic happened. As they say, everything happens for a reason. To come here has truly been a dream come true! Our belated honeymoon combined with a birthday celebration with close friends. We LOVE EVERYONE HERE!! Welcoming us with drinks and bread while watching the beautiful sunset... WOW. Cooking class and every meal with Chef Kadek and Edi were so fun; she even surprised me with carrot cake homemade! Bayu, Bagus, Merta, and the security guard/gardener went above and beyond. We appreciate you all and feel so blessed to be here. We will be back for sure to renew our vows. We just returned from an amazing vacation in Bali and absolutely loved our stay at Villa Semarapura. This villa is incredible and kept in great shape. The grounds are like walking through a museum of sculptures and there is an amazing amazing pool. The location is great if you are looking to get away with friends and relax – villa will accommodate 10 people or five couples comfortably. It is located at the end of the road with several pop up bars that open each night to enjoy the sunset near the beach. I recommend renting scooters to explore the surrounding areas, or take advantage of the Villa van. Most importantly, the staff – Bayu, Kadek, Edy, Mertayasa, Bagus and Wita – were amazing and catered to our every need during our stay. The Chef is top notch at this property and it was an absolute pleasure eating in the incredible dining room each day! The Staff helped my wife plan an amazing Birthday celebration with fresh flowers, wonderful food, cake and Balinese dancers. High

We stayed in this amazing place after travelling Flores for 10 days. We are 10 adults and 4 kids and simply loved this location in multiple dimension. The location is great, listening the ocean while zipping a cool drink is so relaxing. The pool, garden and condition of the place is in fantastic shape. The food is five star plus. The staff is most friendly and professional as we have not seen on any of our trips, just no wish which was not fulfilled. Thanks for the hospitality and we are pretty sure to be back.

They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, from adjusting to our dietary preferences to allowing us decorate for our wedding functions, to planning some functions at the last minute due to flight delays. Mr Edi and his staff were incredibly kind, accommodating and welcoming. They always say yes to all our requests with a smile. They truly became our family we could not have put together such a fun wedding festive without them. Not all villas in this area have staff like the staff at Semarapura and we feel very lucky to have stayed here.

Hard to put in to words... from the moment we entered the villa, after 3 hours trek here, we entered in paradise. The staff could not have been more welcoming, from the cool cloth to the beautiful leis, and from that moment on, we could not have asked for better staff. An absolutely faultless experience! Honestly, I don't know where to start: The staff were sensational, from Eddie the Manager to Gede the gardener. Everyone was so smiley, friendly and hospitable. We genuinely felt like we had made 13 new friends and leaving them was a sad moment. You really can tell that they genuinely love and are thankful for their job at Semarapura. There was 11 people in our group and they knew all our names within the first few hours of being there. They would use our names correctly each and every time we spoke with them. What a skill! The villa itself is spectacular! The grounds are immaculate and the rooms all very well maintained and impeccably clean. The staff tell us that it has recently had a renovation and the new owners then went though and replaced all the furniture. So while the buildings themselves are approximately 8 years old, it feels like new. The beds were a highlight for all of us and we found ourselves commenting daily just how good they were. If they sold the pillows, we would have gone home with at least one each. They were that good! We stayed for just 4 nights and it didn't feel like long enough. There are so many great places to sit and relax, I feel like it would take two weeks to make your way around all the great locations to recline in the various settings. Instead we found ourselves predominantly in the pool and lazing around the bar listening to music on their awesome sound system playing throughout the complex. A mention needs to be made also of the food. It was excellent Well done Kadek and Eddie (2). There was 4 vegetarians in our group and they were able to modify many great meals to accommodate those guests. I highlight was the Tempeh burgers. Yum!!! Other things to note: the pool was crystal clean and warm, the air conditioning was nice and cold in all rooms, the beers were kept icy cold, they even kept fresh coconuts in the fridges for us to drink cold, the cocktails they made were delicious and there is no passing traffic; so no scooter or car noises, only crashing waves. We felt so safe that no one in our group locked our rooms, or locked items in the safes (of which there was one in each villa). There was always fresh dry towels each time we swam, they even had a volleyball net which we played a game with the staff once. The massages were also some of the best we have had in Bali and really well priced. If there was any negative it was only that there were a lot of mosquitos. In reality this is because of the season that we stayed there and so not entirely the villas fault. When we brought it to the staffs attention they did do some fogging but it was a real issue for some of our group who were like magnets for getting bitten. Despite having stayed in some amazing places in Bali before, we often say that we would not stay twice at the same place because there are so many great places to stay, well Semarapura breaks that mindset for us. We would gladly stay there again despite whatever else opened because it was such a faultless experience.

Pictures look beautiful, but the real villa is even better. Huge ground, beautifully maintained gardens and grass area, spacious pool both deep and wide, also have a shallow pool area or places to sit and relax in the pool. The Bose sound system was great as well. Plenty of books, pool toys, dvd available. Staff was wonderful, thanks to wayan, sudiana, suriya, noman(who made the best desserts), eddie, and the lady who cooked on Breakfast as well as all the other staff incl. the gardener, who made us feel at home. The staff kept telling us "everything is possible!!". One thing to be careful: My husband was stung by some sort of insect while walking bare foot in the grass area. (Staff immediately rushed out with first aid box in hand!) Better keep your slippers on!!

This was our second stay at Semarapura and we will definately be back. The things that give it the edge over other properties are the staff (dedicated and charming) the grounds and the location (peaceful). And my husband said to add the food, which is fantastic!

Thank you to the caring and attentive staff at Semarapura for looking after our large group - including children - so well. We had a wonderful holiday with our friends at this beautiful property and could have stayed there forever. The food was magnificent, too - we left with a few recipes in our pockets. I absolutely recommend Semarapura.

Stunning villa, more like a resort hotel, loads of space for everybody to their own chill out space, staff were outstanding, this is our 8th villa and by far the best, we added on 4 nights in a seminyak villa at the end to ensure the shopping was covered, had 3 motor bikes and all around the villa is some fantastic rides without much traffic. Four couples would be perfect but with 5 bedrooms 5 couples works as well, the villa van only hold 7 plus the driver so this could be an issue for some but we did not have a problem as most never wanted to leave the villa, only ate out twice as the food in the villa is fantastic and cheap, our daily spend on food and drink has at least doubled since we got to seminyak. All in all an outstanding villa so don't be scared to book on line because it's actually better in the flesh.

Semarapura was one of the best holidays my family has ever had together. The staff were fantastic and become part of our family by the end of the week. Nothing we asked was too much trouble. We loved it and will definitely be back again! (Also the food was fabulous too!!!!!)

Our whole group agreed that our 7 day stay at Villa Semarapura was the best holiday we have ever had. The place is paradise!! It was the best way to spend my 30th Birthday with old and new friends in the staff. They all became family to us. The service was first class and the food was amazing, Chef sertainly knows his stuff. We enjoyed having the staff around so much we invited them to have a few drinks with us every night and on the final night had dinner with all the staff which was a great way to finish our stay. I cant recomened the place highly enough. You will not regret a stay at Villa Semarapura.

We had a fantastic stay at Semarapura - only problem it wasn't long enough!! The staff were fantastic - and the food by the chef Norman was better than we get at the top 5 star hotel we stay at in Seminyak. The manager Mr Wayan was amazing - nothing a problem from organising massages - transfers .. dinners for the 6 adults and children. It was our first visit and we were so impressed I am speaking to my family about a trip next year and staying at Semarapura for the first week. Thank you everyone Natalie - Melbourne

Our family of 11 spent 14 nights at Villa Semarapura and were totally impressed from the moment we walked in to the villa until the moment we walked out. And it want just the villa itself that impressed us it was more built around the staff. The team lead by Wayan the manager, Sudiana and Surya the butlers, Noyman the chef right through to guday the gardener the staff could not have been more obliging and wanted to help us in every possible to ensure at we had a memorable experience. We will most definitely be back.

By far the best view on the whole island especially at susnset. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly almost to the point of feeling like family. Overall I would reccomend this location to families or family groups as the location provides a fun and safe atmosphere for adults and children away from all the clamor near Kuta and Kuta Beach.

A true Balinese experience set in lush tropical gardens on the coast. A wonderful bar area by the pool and elevated dining room were the best areas to spend long hours with friends.We booked both Jagaditha and Semarapura villas for a large group and both offered something unique to the other . Well worth a stay.
